Course Overview
The Foundation Math curriculum is closely aligned with the Algebra I curriculum and aims to strengthen students’ knowledge and skills to prepare students for high level math classes. This course plans to provide students with rigorous practice and promote students’ confidence and competence in using the mathematical knowledge and skills required for everyday life, work and leisure. General Expectations
You are expected to participate rigorously in class to master the basic of mathematical concepts in a thoroughly, neat and in a timely manner.You should arrive in class ready to learn and prepared for the day’s work.You are also expected to participate in class discussions and in small groups.Remember:Always do your best and never give up!

Course Outline
The course content includes simplifying and evaluating numerical and algebraic expressions, solving equations and inequalities, factoring and simplifications of rational expressions, linear functions, an introduction to radicals and quadratic functions as well as other concepts.
